I really want to try to help you save money. Here are a few things that you will NOT find on my site:
1.) Posted deals that I would not do myself
2.) Posted deals that are not really deals, but will make me money if you purchase.
3.) A million and one posts telling you to buy buy buy (Would I really be a site about saving money if all I did all day was tell you to spend it?)
The reason for me not having posts such as those mentioned above are that I TRULY want you to experience the blessing of being debt free. I don’t find that it settles well deep within my soul if I am posting deals to make money (see my disclosure statement) if it doesn’t align with my personal values and goals (which is to save money.) (I’ve been guilty of this in a past venture, but have learned from it.) And last, I don’t think you can save money and get debt free if all you do is spend. I love to save money, I love a good deal…but let’s be honest if we spend all day shopping online or in a store, it’s hard for us to keep our money in the bank.
So what brought on all of this? A Daily Deal Site. Today there is a deal for $6 tickets to Studio Movie Grill (which is in Atlanta, Kansas, and Texas). The deal offers you a movie ticket and drink for $6. I can’t post that telling you to purchase it when I know that there are FREE tickets on Facebook. I’ve won a few already over the last few months. So don’t BUY what you can get for FREE! Head over to Facebook and click on the “Are You a Fan” tab to get yours. You may have to try a few times as it’s specific to when the giveaway is open, but to get them for free is TOTALLY worth it!
