Sometimes I get offers to do things that are WAY too fun for me to enjoy myself! This past week, I was invited to drive exotic cars with Fittipaldi Exotic Driving at the Texas Motor Speed Way. I knew this wasn’t an experience that I could fully appreciate so I made a date out of it and went with my hubby! He was on cloud 9 when I told him what he would get to drive!
Fittipaldi Exotic Driving is an experience that you can give your hubby (or dad) this Father’s Day! They will be back at the Texas Motor Speedway in June and dad can enjoy driving or riding! My hubby has a “need for speed” and loved hitting speeds over 100 mph! He probably loved not having me on his shoulder crabbing at him about his lead foot! Each drive comes with an experienced coach who rides along and helps make sure you are staying safe! If you choose to ride with a professional driver be prepared to hit speeds much higher then what you might feel confident driving yourself.
When we arrived for our experience, we were greeted and led into a quick orientation. There were several cars to choose from and they provided all of the equipment we needed. They even took picts and gave us a SD card with video from the drive! This was a top notch experience and we would definitely recommend it! We did not feel rushed and we were given plenty of time to ask questions and explore the cars! They provide shaded seating for those watching or waiting as well as cold bottled water!
At the end of your fun, you are given the option to take home some keepsakes! They offer prints that are framed and ready to hang! We bought the $35 one and hubby plans to hang it in his new office at work!
