I have wanted to ride a segway since they came out. I wasn’t sure I would be able to balance just right but decided to give it a try anyways!
I was given the opportunity this past weekend to give it a shot, thanks to McKinney Segway Tours. It was MUCH easier then I anticipated! After 10-15 minute lesson on how to keep control and balance, we were off to tour the historic downtown McKinney area.
I have been downtown a few times, but have never really driven on the side streets or heard the history of the area. It was really interesting to hear about the different houses, architecture, and history.
I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who might want to learn more about McKinney. The owners are very friendly and made it a lot of fun for us. They know a lot about the area and left me wanting to learn even more.
They can accommodate a group of 4-5, I believe.

*Riders must be at least 14 years of age and riders under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver and accompany them on the tour.
*It is recommended that riders be under 70 years old.
*Riders must weigh between 100 and 275 pounds.
