I love that saving money. In fact, it’s the very reason that I started this blog. I wanted to share with others ways that I have found to save. Savings is not just for grocery shopping or dining out. You can save on almost anything!
When I started my Becoming a Sports Mom blog series, I tried to think of everything that a sports mom would need to know. I, of course thought of equipment, organization, but I did not think of things that would help promote the teams themselves.

After attending one softball tournament, I knew our team needed a banner to hang on the fence. Off to Staples I went to create and print a banner for the girls! I absolutely love that you can go in store to create, design, and even print it. I went in and headed straight to the print center. They have computers right there for you to design your work. (You can do that at home as well.) I liked doing this in store as it allowed the customer service rep to answer my questions and help make sure I was ordering the correct things.

The process was really simple. I simply clicked thru selecting exactly what I wanted. The coupon savings was already calculated in and then I checked out. When you order at home, you pay at checkout. When you order in store, you pay at pick up. Since I was printing on outdoor banner paper it would take a few hours for the ink to dry and I would need to come back for pick up. They also added the little rings so that I could hang it easily for a small fee.
The Twins (team and coaches!) love the banner. It gives our team a sense of ownership and pride. For less then $60, I am very proud of it and I am excited that it’s such a great quality and we can use it season after season.
