Big thanks to BSM Media for partnering with me to bring you this fun post on Paddington. They provided the party kit and we enjoyed the fun! All opinions are my own and are honest.
My girls love ANY reason to have friends over and enjoy a fun party! They were so excited about throwing a beary special Paddington party. We planned for a few days and they came up with some beary fun games. We kept the eating to snacks only since we were just playing games and watching the movie (already available on iTunes!)
We started our party with a “Berry Special Snack!” We kept it lite and enjoyed strawBERRYs, and Teddy Grams. The kids loved the combo. I considered coating the strawberries in white chocolate and adding the bears on the outside…but the kids veto’d it and said they wanted to eat them separate. Since I knew we had cake and popcorn to enjoy later, I agreed!
We then played a game that my 8 yr old came up with… toss the had on the bear! It was cute and the red cardstock hat was very easy to make! My 6 yr old wanted to read the Paddington book to us and show off her reading skills! We were happy to listen!
We then moved into the theater room to enjoy some popcorn and the movie via iTunes download! (I absolutely love that we can watch movies early by downloading them! My kids love when we do it as it puts it on our cloud and they can watch the movie in the car as well!)
After the movie, we enjoyed some of Duff’s fun zebra cake! It was so easy to make and my 10 yr old helped me! She was so proud of how it turned out. It looks like it would be much harder to make, but it wasn’t!
My girls loved this movie. It was nostalgic for me to watch. I love the fun adventures that he gets himself into and the lessons to learn from this movie are enough to make it any families favorites. The love of a family stretches beyond what they think they can give! It’s such a sweet movie. It comes out THIS week! Order your copy here!
