My girls and I LOVE inviting friends over to play. We really love excuses to create fun snacks and play with toys! This is why we were so excited to throw a Littlest Pet Shop party! We were sent a few Style Sets to play with along with their newest movie: The Littlest Pet Shop: Sweetest Pets.
I wanted a snack that would be perfect for our party, so I made “Puppy Chow” for the girls! This is a simple snack that only requires four ingredients: chocolate chips, peanut butter, Rice chex cereal, and powdered sugar. Melt the chocolate and peanut butter together, pour in cereal, mix well. Shake in bag of powered sugar! So simple!
I worked on putting togeter the style sets while the girls were enjoying their puppy chow. It took a bit longer then I expected to put together, as there are lots of little pieces to be popped out. (This is good info for you to know if you are planning to give one of these adorable gifts for Christmas!) The girls gladly played with the pets alone while I worked quickly. Once I had the shops put together they were set! They played and played! I loved watching them play and imagine, technology FREE!
The DVD was a great closure to our afternoon of fun! This movie came with a coloring sheet and the story was easy for the kids to follow. Blythe Baxter moves into an apartment above the Littlest Pet Shop. She quickly learns that she can talk to the pets… and they can talk back! This movie is full of their wild adventures!
