Dallas Summer Musicals has Nice Work if You can Get It coming to Music Hall at Fair Park September 2-14.
It’s the Roaring Twenties, and a cast of outrageous characters gather in New York to celebrate the wedding of wealthy playboy Jimmy Winter. But things don’t go as planned when the playboy meets Billie Bendix, a bubbly and feisty bootlegger who melts his heart. The champagne flows and the gin fizzes! NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT is filled to the brim with classic songs, including “But Not For Me,” “Let’s Call the Whole Thing Off,” “I’ve Got a Crush on You” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.” This sparkling, madcap tale combines laughter, romance and high-stepping Broadway magic for an evening bursting with girls, glamour and the glorious songs of Gershwin.

The price for Dining in the Music Hall is not included in your event ticket price. Dining at the Music Hall opens 2 hours before show time, 11:30am for matinee performances and 5:30pm for evening performances at the Music Hall. The restaurant closes at show time. The buffet ranges from $21.95 – $23.95 (prices subject to change) depending on day and time. The Broadway Cafe is a lighter fare before each performance and during intermission. Sandwiches, salads, desserts, and snacks are sold from price points of $3 to $10.
Currently Dallas Summer Musicals allows beverages inside the theatre, food may not be taken into the theatre.
*Note, parking will be tricky as they are currently setting up for the State Fair of Texas. You will want to arrive early and give yourself plenty of time for parking!
