Zoës Kitchen, a yummy Mediterranean-inspired, fast-casual restaurant just opened their 101st location in Richardson, Texas and hubby and I were very excited try it out. I knew they would have amazing hummus but wasn’t sure what to expect outside of that. It was SO yummy!
We started our lunch with some delicious hummus and pita chips. It was so creamy and smooth…and so good! I could have made a meal from just that! I ordered the hummus and salad plate and added grilled chicken. It was so fresh and tasty. Steve ordered the steak kabob’s and I HAD to try one after he ate a few. He swore it was super tender and juicy. I like red meat about once a week and so I tried one…and poor Steve…I took another…then one more. I had three pieces. It’s normally HIM stealing food from MY plate…but not today. The Steak was so good to be “fast food.”
We visited with the manager for a few minutes and learned that they make everything fresh each day. They don’t have anything frozen, fried, and there are no microwaves. The quality of the meal proved this to be true.
I also appreciated that Zoe’s has DECAF drinks available. I do not drink caffeine and loved the caffeine free Hibiscus Green Tea. It had just the right flavor and was yummy.
We plan to go back soon. The prices were great and we felt like it was definitely a healthier quicker lunch/dinner choice.
