We celebrate Thoughtful Thursday each week in our house and this year I decided that I would use it as a change to spoil the girls teacher as well! Last week they got Sonic… it’s hot here in TX so a Ice cold Sonic drink while standing out in 100+ degree heat is a treat! (And I love Happy Hour prices… BONUS!)
Today while browsing thru Hobby Lobby, I saw these adorable jars and decided I would make a Fall Trail Mix in a Jar to give the teachers. I made tons so that my kids could enjoy some as well! This is what I included:
- Gold Fish (They have a nice golden color!)
- Pretzels
- Pumpkin Spice M&M’s
- Almonds (unsalted)
- Mini Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
- Chopped up Granola Bar
The color combination was great. The only thing I would have liked to have added was craisins. That would have added that pretty Fall red color to the mix.
This makes for a great teachers gift, or just fun gift in general.
