Recently, I went to SoFabCon in Bentonville, Arkansas and was blessed enough to ride with 3 of my favorite DFW blogging friends. We reached out to Chevrolet to see if they’d consider sponsoring our trip, and they provided us with a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse.

I got to first try out a Chevrolet Traverse a few years ago at the Texas State Fair. It’s really nice and seats 7, which is awesome since it’s not nearly as big and bulky of a vehicle as a minivan. Great gas mileage too!

The Traverse drives really smooth and has a sleek body style. It’s very roomy. The third down can fold down for cargo space. With four gals and all of our bags, we still had tons of room to move around! I love that the second row had bucket seats. I don’t like my kids “too” close! Hands and feet fly and it’s not a good thing.

A few features that you will love about the 2013 Chevrolet Traverse include:

  1. Built-in dashboard navigation
  2. Chevrolet MyLink that syncs with your smartphone to provide hands-free calling
  3. Heated and cooled leather seats
  4. Tons of cup holders
  5. Side Blind Zone Alert with Rear-Cross Traffic Alert lets you know when there’s something you can’t see
  6. Rear thermostat allows passengers to control their own temperature
  7. Built-in DVD player (how do families travel without one of these?)Disclosure: I was provided use of a 2013 Chevrolet Traverse to travel to Bentonville, Arkansas and facilitate this review. All opinions and photos are my own.

  1. I absolutely LOVE the Chevy MyLink feature. I could play with it for hours!

  2. We own the 2012 Chevy Traverse and I so wish we had the 2013. Some of the differences would have been worth it, but we didn’t have an option. Though we traded our 2013 lemon of a Equinox for the Traverse, the 2013 wasn’t ready 🙁

  3. the only thing my car is missing is dashboard navigation, agh! it would save me so much time, and gas (money). great review, now i want one!

  4. Absolutely loved the Traverse… and the road trip with you ladies! It was such a comfortable, smooth ride.

  5. You are so right. The Traverse is very roomy and comfy and perfect for large(r) families. We test drive it back in September 2011 as well and did not want to give it back!

  6. I remember following that vehicle to Arkansas! 🙂

  7. Looks like a fun vehicle! And a fun time with friends!

  8. Wow- looks like a great car to road trip in! Hope you gals had fun!
