This past year has FLOWN by so quickly. It was such a fun year of (re)learning how to be a mama to a baby again! It was filled with a lot of “firsts” and I tried to take in every single moment and savor it! Building up to Nathan’s first birthday, I wanted to keep it simple! I knew that he wouldn’t really care about anything but the cake and I didn’t feel a need to be “showy” and go all out with decor! I wanted the focus to be on HIM! Thankfully my friends and family are awesome and didn’t expect an explosion of Pinterest all over my (already decorated for Christmas) house!
