I recently learned that not too far from my home a new drive in movie theater opened! I couldn’t wait to check it out! I am so glad that I did! We absolutely loved the place and my kids are planning their birthday parties there now! Coyote Drive-In Theaters have a few locations!

Here are some basic details that you will want to know before you go:
ALL TICKETS PURCHASES ARE FOR A DOUBLE FEATURE – two movies back-to-back with an intermission
Gates open at 5:30pm daily. Arrive at least 60 minutes before showtime to avoid lines, get a good spot, relax with some food and a drink before the shows, and watch the sunset. (No coolers are allowed…but dogs are allowed!)
For weekends, blockbuster movies, and holidays, lines can be long, so you should plan on arriving at least 90 minutes before your showtime.
ADMISSION PRICES
Adult Ticket: Ages 12 & Up $8.00
Child Ticket: Ages 5 – 11 $6.00
Civil Servant Ticket: $6.00
Ages 4 & Under: FREE
For the price, it was perfect! For all four of my littles it was only $18…and for a DOUBLE feature this is really a great price!
When we arrived, about an hour before the movie, we got our tickets and were directed to the correct parking lot. We parked, and walked over to the playground area and the patio to order food! Here are a few photos from that area! When we go next time, we will go 90 minutes before the movie to give the kiddos extra time to play on the play ground!

They had live music and tons of picnic tables for people to sit outside and enjoy the fun atmosphere. You can also choose to eat indoors. Inside is not only where you order food but there is also a bar area for adult drinks!

The food came out quickly and it was REALLY good! They have normal movie foods like nachos and popcorn…but they also have some really filling other stuff! They have pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, hummus, chicken tenders and so much more! Go here to see their full menu! (Below is a picture of the cheese pizza that is only $8)

And their drink machines were one of the biggest highlights for my kiddos! They love touch screens and the endless options!

There are tons of restrooms…both men’s and women’s…and there are also a few family bathrooms! The family bathrooms have changing tables! Very nice and very clean!

It’s hard to get a great photo of the cars parked but here is one I took! You kinda park on rolling hills. It helps keep everyone at an angle to watch easily!

This drive in theater has landed in my top 10 things to do in Dallas! It’s seriously so much fun…for the whole family!
Here are a few tips for you to remember as you go:
- If you want to sit outside of your car, bring chairs or blankets to sit on. You will also need an FM radio to play the audio of the movie, or you can roll down your windows and listen that way.
- Bring blankets. Even inside our van we were chilly and needed to cover up and snuggle up!
- Go early… trust me! Your kids will want to play on the play ground!
- No refunds…so check the weather before buying your tickets!
