This weekend I was blessed enough to get away for a few days. I got to sit and soak up God’s goodness spoken and sang by amazing women. Standing and worshiping along side four friends and knowing that I had several other friends in the room was special and cherished.
Walking into the Belong Tour, I knew it would be life changing and that I was about to walk a spiritual and emotional journey. I was open to what God had for me. He used the humor of Patsy Clairmont to make me laugh, the wisdom of Shauna Niequist, the honesty of Jen Hatmaker and the lyrics of Nichole Nordeman to change my heart and stir His plan in my heart. Sharon Irving and Angela Davis also motivated me!
I left with new thoughts about my purpose, my friendships, my family and my spiritual walk. I want to be a person of grace and shower others with His love. I want to be wise with my words and patient with my expectations. I want to see people how Jesus does. I want to be poured out for Him.
I won’t give too much of the weekends events away but you WILL laugh and cry! You will be so thankful for taking the time to go and hear what God has for you!
