Slow Down! I heard a song this week and it brought me to my knees! It described EXACTLY how I feel right now. With my oldest about to graduate elementary school and move on to middle, and my baby growing and changing so much every day, I am just a bag of emotions.
I am constantly evaluating our lives to make sure we have a balance of fun, education, recreation and such. I want to make so many memories, yet in the process I feel like time is moving much too quickly.
I have friends who aren’t ready for summer as their houses get loud and chaotic…and I’m over here praying summer could get here quicker. I enjoy time with my girls. I miss them when they are in school all day. I love that God chose me to mentor them thru life and relationships and help them see Him daily.
Recently I bought a Groupon to move some old tapes on to DVD. I was pulling out those tapes when I came across some videos oft eh girls when they were babies. We watched a few of them and so many memories flooded my soul. It feels like only yesterday, and also a lifetime ago.
