Do you currently have a Wi-fi Enabled Vehicle? They do exist. I have mixed feelings about them. One one hand, I love the idea that my ride can be a mobile hot spot and on the other, I’m not sure how necessary it is since my phone has an unlimited internet data package.
My kids LOVE the wi-fi a lot as it gives them unending play time on iPads. With wifi offered almost everywhere, I personally think it’s an added luxury that my family does not need at this time. Like I said, my kids would object!
I pay a data plan for my home internet, for my cell phone, and I wouldn’t want to add another data plan bill. Just like with your cell phone, service is dependent on your area.
All of this is food for thought and something that you can certainly discuss when you head into Paul Conte Chevrolet.
I personally think there are plenty distractions and taking a brain break from screens while in the car is a blessing. I want my kids to pay attention to traffic rules, signs, and flow. It can only help them later in life.
What are your thoughts? Would you want to have wi-fi available via a data plan for your ride?
