If you have a long commute each day to work, then you might be tempted to use your cruise control. Depending on if you live in the city or a suburb, it might or might not make sense to use your cruise control. Stop and go traffic would not be a good time to use your cruise control as you would be setting it over and over again. However, there are now vehicles equipped with “adapted cruise control!”
Adaptive cruise control is an updated feature to the already fabulous cruise control. It is a smart car feature that allows you to set your cruise and keep it, no matter the stop and go behaviors of the cars around you. It knows how close you are to cards in front of you and if you need to slow down or speed up. It is a truly a game changer. It has made my life much easier. No longer do I need to tap the breaks to slow for traffic or reset my control. I love that most new cars comes with this fun feature.
I think cruise control is important to use for many reasons. The main reason, for me personally, is to avoid tickets. I also think it’s great for gas mileage. When out shopping for a new car, make sure to check out The Chevy Source for your new ride.
