So hubby and I have embarked on the next crazy fun journey of our lives! We are excited about this journey and sure of a few things:
1.) We were called to do this! We know God has awesome plans for our family thru this journey.
2.) The child that we will adopt will NOT look like us. We don’t know exactly what that means but we know that we will love them more then life itself!
3.) Love always multiples, it never divides! Our girls are very excited about welcoming a baby brother or sister into their lives.
4.) This journey is ours. Some might think we are nuts, but we feel like it’s exactly what we are supposed to do.
5.) This child will be loved! Loved by their birth mom enough to make an adoption plan, and loved by us!
We have a HUGE team of friends and family cheering us on during this journey and we are SO thankful! There will be days when we are frustrated, elated, hopeful and even discouraged. This is a strange type of “pregnancy” and not knowing the timeline will be tough. We plan to wait well. To trust God. And to rest in knowing that His plans are WAY bigger then ours could ever be!
