Do you watch The Biggest Loser? I do, I’m actually addicted to it! I’ve been watching it for a LONG time! It’s always been my goal to support their efforts and do The Biggest Loser RunWalk Race. I’ve lost over 100 lbs and it was HARD work! Sunday, Oct. 5th, I will be participating in the race in Dallas, TX. This 5K is non-competitive which I love. When I was just starting to lose weight, I felt like such a failure as all of thh fit people passed me up at 5K’s. I have a feeling that this one will be very different! I can’t wait to encourage others along the way as this race is for ALL fitness levels! Infact, you can choose between a 5K, a 10K and a one-mile fun run for children!
This 5K seeks to challenge America to get fit. Fitness isn’t a short race that you run in life…it’s a marathon. A daily journey. Believe me, once I lost the 100 lbs, I entered a whole new phase…keeping it off. It’s a lifestyle!
This year, The Biggest Loser RunWalk has a fun Six Flags Race Series – a series of 5K/10K’s that run through Six Flags® theme parks. There are races at 11 Six Flags® parks across the United States!
