*I was sent a Ninja Ultima for the purpose of this review and blog series. All opinions are my own and are honest!
I have been making smoothies for over a year now and I have not found a blender that I really loved. I started with a single sized hand blender and it wasn’t at all powerful enough to blend up my smoothies to a drinkable texture. I then moved to a bigger blender and it wasn’t powerful enough to blend my ice. I was getting HUGE chunks which wasn’t at all drinkable. I tried another chopper/blender combo and it wasn’t working either.
Since I drink between 3-5 smoothies a week, I needed something that would work well. So this brings us to this fun blog series…Seven Days of Healthy Smoothies made with a Ninja Ultima.
I love the Ninja Ultima for several reasons. The first is that it is super powerful. Within seconds I can blend my smoothies and the texture is perfect. I add spinach and my kids never know now that i use the Ninja. I love that I do not have to use the large pitcher attachment to make smoothies. I can make single serving sized smoothies. This is great for me as I normally make these for breakfast for myself after the kids are in school. The last thing that I love about my Ninja is the suction cups on the bottom. They help keep the Ninja right were I place it on the counter!
Starting tomorrow you will see the following smoothie recipes over the next seven days! Enjoy!
- Strawberry Fuel
- Chocolate Peanut Butter
- Grapefruit Goodness
- Peanut Butter Banana
- Chocolate Cherry Fuel
- Green Goddess
- Triple Berry Blast
