Fall is (almost) here and that means sick kids in my home! I am excited to try something new this year. Thanks to Dr. CocoaTM for sponsoring this post and helping give me a tool to help keep my kids healthy this fall. All opinions are my own and are honest.

I love living in Texas…most of the time!  The fall is beautiful but the weather is so back and forth. It stays pretty warm until November, with a few cooler days to tease us in the middle. We love those cooler days and take advantage of them by playing outside. This is when my kids start to get sick! They get colds or allergies from the back and forth weather. And as a mom, I really have to play with a few different medicines to figure out the perfect combination.

I plan to try out Dr. CocoaTM this year. It is a NEW cough and cold medicine for children 4-13 (6-13 for the Nighttime Cough and Cold Relief formula). It’s made in the USA and is the first line ever made with real cocoa, giving it a real chocolate taste. The patented formula contains trusted, effective cough and cold-fighting ingredients. Chose from:  Long-Acting Cough Relief, Daytime Cough and Cold Relief and Nighttime Cough and Cold Relief.  My oldest hate Cherry, Bubblegum or Grape flavor. She’s 9, but not old enough for adult doses…so this will be a good change for her. I love the 8 hr time frame on this. I do not like giving my kids meds every 4 hours. I forget! Also when they are in school, it’s hard to get them a dose mid day!

What do you do to prevent colds when the weather shifts from cold to hot so quickly?
