Six Flags Over Texas recently invited my family to check out their newly updated Bugs Bunny Boomtown! There are five brand new rides, plenty of seating and shade, plus expanded walkways which are great for strollers or wheel chairs.
Kids can play at Looney Tunes Adventure Camp—an interactive play structure where kids can climb, slide and discover fun surprises. Taz Tornado Swings will have children spinning round and round as they twirl above the park in pint-sized swings. Bugs Bunny Cloud Bouncer will allow youngsters to take on new heights, while Marvin the Martian Space Rockets offers the perfect flight for future aviators. Daffy Duck Bucket Blasters gets everyone engaged in a fun water battle as riders spin around in water barrels, splashing everyone within reach. Moms and Dads can join in on the excitement of BUGS
BUNNY Boomtown by riding with their little ones on some of these great family-friendly rides and attractions.
Six Flags Over Texas is currently open weekends. For more information on operating hours and BUGS BUNNY Boomtown, visit www.sixflags.com/overtexas. Here are a few upcoming events that you will not want to miss out on!
Fright Fest. It begins September 27 and runs through November 2. By day, the park offers Halloween-themed shows and treats for younger guests and families. Then by sun’s set the ghastly ghouls, goblins and zombies emerge and the hunting and haunting begins throughout the park’s midways.
Holiday in the park is November 22- December 23. From more than a million twinkling lights, holiday shows, toasty campfires, delicious hot cocoa, and roller coasters, to the nearly 60 foot Holiday Tree of Trees, Santa Land and of course Santa Claus. Special moments and thrills can be found at North Texas’ largest holiday festival.
