*CastleRock Resort hosted my family for a weekend stay in exchange for this post. All opinions are my own and are honest.
Twisting, turning, splashing fun can be found in Branson…year round! My family drove to St. Louis for Christmas this year and we knew we were going to be passing thru Spring Field, not far from Branson on the way home. We love to stop at Lamberts to eat and were so excited about getting to enjoy some indoor fun at Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark.
There is so much to see and do in Branson, but kiddos get tired of all of the running around. Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark has made visiting Branson fun for ALL ages. With two large water slides, a lazy river and multiple pools to enjoy, your family will have endless hours of fun and play. My girls are 8, 6, 5 and were easily worn out after just 2 hours. The best part about this stay is that we can play, rest, play, rest, play…all without leaving our hotel.
Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark has several other awesome things that you will want to know about as you plan your visit. They have a restaurant, called Tower Grill, that is perfectly priced for a family on a budget. Kids can eat for $3.99 and adults for just $5.99. With prices that cheap, I am not sure there is any place nearby that we could drive to and enjoy.
They also have a small arcade for kiddos to enjoy, and a gift shop. The gift shop sells sweet treats if you are looking for a way to spoil your family. Or if you want soft serve, there is a Cherry Berry right across the street, as well as a Pizza Hut.
We found this to be a fun, relaxing and affordable stay for us. We got to enjoy a show, shopping and spent most of our time at the hotel playing. Outside temps didn’t affect us and we made sweet memories. We drive thru Branson each year en route to see family in St. Louis. Guess where we will be staying each year now?
Here are a few things I couldn’t find on the website that you might want to know in planning your trip:
1.) Castlerock provides life jackets to those who need them
2.) You must be 42 inches to ride the two big slides
3.) You can not ride in a double tube down the big slide, must go solo
4.) They use chlorine to keep the pool water clean…and it affected my eyes the first day, so bring eye drops or goggles if you are affected as well.
5.) They provide towels for pool use, they aren’t very big, but they are free.
6.) They are well staffed. We allowed our 8 yr old to go down slides without us and felt safe.
7.) No one required us to wear water shoes, but we did. Saw lots of people barefoot.
Set up your reservation for Castle Rock Resort and Waterpark or call them 888-273-3919.
They are located at 3005 Green Mountain Dr Branson, MO 65616
Also, they do offer day passes if you want to purchase a few hours to play in the waterpark. There are discount coupons in the Tanger Outlet coupon booklet for this as well. ($3 off)
Sounds like a fun part of your holiday for the girls!!! I’ve never been to Branson, but Southwest flies there now!
Can’t wait to try it out in the spring. Glad your family had a good time.
