We were invited to come and play for a day for the purpose of this post! All opinions are my own and are honest!
We love exploring and playing and this week was no different! Nathan and I went to Legoland Discovery Center! While Legoland offers tons of fun for kids of all ages, we opted to check out the Pirate Beach Splash Pad since it’s still horribly hot here in Texas! We have done several splash pads over the course of the summer…but NONE like this one!
Nathan is at the age where he loves to climb, build, and run. All three of these things are perfect for Pirate Beach Splash Pad at Legoland Discovery Center! With soft blocks to build in the water play area, he was in heaven! He was really intrigued with the two pirate Lego men statues and that made for an adorable pict! After he was worn out, we changed clothes and went back inside to play for a bit before enjoying lunch at their little cafe!
Here are a few tips for those who want to check out Pirate Beach Splash Pad at Legoland Discovery Center:
1.) Take your swim suit and change there. You will have to change back into your regular clothes and completely dry off before going back inside Legoland.
2.) Bring water shoes for your littles. The ground can definitely get hot and I love having my little guy in his no-slip Keens while playing in water.
3.) Bring sunscreen! We totally forgot. Thankfully it was more cloudy then sunny and we didn’t stay out to terribly long.
4.) If your little wears diapers, don’t forget to bring you swim diapers for your day of play!
We will definitely be back to play again! I’m not sure when it closes for the season, but as of Sept. 26th, it is still open! (This would make for a great dad/kid playdate while mom shops and enjoys the mall!)
