Game Truck provided our family and friends with a rocking party for our family. All opinions in this post are mine and are honest.

Summer is coming and it’s time to rev up the FUN! This week we got to invite tons of our friends to come and enjoy a Game Truck Party with us! My girls love playing on the iPads, computers and Wii, but I had NO clue how popular this party would be!

Here is how to have a successful Game Truck Party:

  • Call your local Game Truck franchise and set up date/time.
  • Wait for the confirmation email from Gametruckparty.com and use the included link in that email to send out invites to your friends and family.
  • Plan WHERE you want the truck to park during the party. (I chose a park nearby which had tons of room for the truck and parents to park as well. This truck is around 60 ft long.
  • Enjoy not having to do a thing while the kids play for two hours!

This truck is packed with technology! Think XBOX360®, Nintendo WiiT and Playstation®! We invited kids who ranged in age from 6 to 10. This was seriously the EASIEST party that I have ever thrown! Our GameTruck party host was awesome with the kids. He was very patient. He set the rules before they got into the truck and was very helpful and patient with the kids during the party! If you choose to host the party at your house then you are set with everything that you need (bathroom, snacks, seats for parents…etc.) If you chose to have your party at the park then you might want to consider bringing chairs for the parents. I also provided light snacks for the kids. No food or drinks are allowed inside the truck, so I was sure to bring Pampers wipes to clean hands and faces before letting them play inside.  The truck has an awning that provides great shade outside for the parents. The truck also has it’s own air conditioning system and is temperature controlled. Even with the door wide open, it was very cool inside.

The game choices felt endless for the kiddos and I was able to nix the games that I didn’t want offered. (I opted to have the blood/guts/guns types of games removed due to age and such.) Prices for this vary based on weekend/weekday. You have to call with dates in mind to get estimates on what your party would cost. I also included a gratuity for the guy because he was so awesome during the party.

We had a Gametruck party for my son 3 years ago. Our 4th child was only 11 days old so this was the perfect party. It was his favorite:) He’s about to be 10 and we would love to have another racetrack party for him!

I would spoil my daughter and her volleyball team if I won. They just finished their 7th and final season as a team. They have aged out of the rec league and will be moving on to their middle school teams next year. What a fun way to celebrate these sweet girls and their amazing coaches as they head their separate ways!

This looks fun! I would love to win it and I would spoil Ainsley and her gymnastics team! Those young ladies spend 10-11 hours in the gym each week, so I know a break and a little bit of chill-out time would be very much appreciated! 🙂

  4. I would spoil my son on his big double digit birthday, the big 1-0, with his brother and all his friends! They would have a blast!!!

I would spoil my 13 year old basketball player/gamer along with his lil brother, friends & teammates! When he’s not playing basketball outside, he’s in our game room playing video games. We woukd have the truck it in front of the house so the kiddos can alternate between gaming and shooting hoops. We would also reserve one spot on the truck for our soon 6 year old and his friends, they sure love video games too 🙂 Our oldest was invited to a game truck party a few months ago, he loved it!

  10. I would spoil my son and the kids from the neighborhood, we have so many new kids that have moved in… It would be a great way for the kids to get to know each other, when normally they wouldn’t get many opportunities to interact because of different schools, working parents, etc! How fun would that be to have it park at the community playground and let all the kids have FUN together!!! Building a community and network of kids and parents… after all it takes a village to raise a child! 🙂
