The one thing that really surprised me when I became a mom was how connected your emotions can be….when my son is in pain, it breaks my heart. And how much a child’s laughter can completely brighten ones day! 🙂
I think what surprised me the most was the intense need to protect my daughter. Also the beautifully overwhelming feelings that she was mine 🙂
my daughter is so random i never expected to laugh so hard at “what kids say” i never thought id wish to be with her all the time as much as i would like
I am surprised on how fast they grow up.
I’m surprised by how proud I feel when my kids do the smallest of things
My son has Down Syndrome and autism (he’s now 23) and I am still surprised at how delighted I am when he learns a new word or uses a common catch phrase or joke. These are the little things that normally delight a mother at age 1 or 2 or 3 but I still just love those moments. Thank God he is still learning.
It surprises me every day how each of my children inherited little bits and pieces of my personality- sometimes it’s great, and sometimes not so much!
The thing that surprised me the most was how funny kids can be. They really do say the darndest things! =)
I think what surprised me the most about motherhood was the sheer exhaustion in the first few months. I didn’t realize you could function in a sleep deprived haze!
I was surprised at how much you can do on so little sleep! But, I love it and wouldn’t change it for the world!
I was surprised at how strong I became. I can lift a child, stroller, and bags of stuff and walk for blocks. I probably could lift a car if I needed too. I was shocked to become super mommy. lol.
I was never able to have children, but I plan on watching the movie and would love to win the giveaway ヅ *Thanks* for the giveaway!
I was most surprised at how much sleep I wanted when I couldn’t have it!!! I love them so much, wouldn’t trade sleepless nights with them for anything!!
love how funny they are and how much you can accomplish with no sleep
