“You is kind, You is smart, You is important” has stayed in my brain ever since I watched The Help! This movie took me on an emotional roller coaster. I cried, laughed, and was very angry during several scenes of this movie. I was also very shocked at the harsh reality that humanity faced in this era. In this movie, you get to see the gentle spirit of the Help as they are talked down to and made to feel less then the others. They are the most hardworking enduring women EVER! In this movie, a secret writing project brings The Help and the writer together in an unlikely friendship. I enjoyed watching The Help as they relived their moments for the book and including things that would incriminate their former bosses! It was truly a heart warming, sweet, thought provoking movie!
